Anchorage is a community in northeast Pinellas County, bordered on the south and west by John Chesnut Park, on the east by East Lake Road, and on the north by Tarpon Lake Boulevard. There are 250 homes in Anchorage, most built in the early 1970's. The community has a nautical theme and the streets have nautical names.

Anchorage is located in Palm Harbor, Florida next to Lake Tarpon and just a few minutes drive from the Gulf of Mexico, near John Chesnut Park, Lansbrook Golf course, the YMCA ,and the Pinellas Trail.
A Publix supermarket is less than a mile away, and there's a Walgreens right on the corner!.

Pool and Clubhouse

Anchorage has a large clubhouse (Just renovated in 2022!) with seating for 200. The Clubhouse has a full kitchen, and can be reserved for private functions.
A resort-style pool overlooks the community green space . There's lots of deck chairs and loungers at the pool, perfect for relaxing, getting together with old friends and meeting new ones!

Anchorage is a DEED-RESTRICED community, meaning that even though you own your home, our community has "rules" on what's allowed...and what's NOT allowed. Our "rules" were designed to keep Anchorage a peaceful and attractive place to live, and to maintain our property values. Yes, you'll give up some of the freedoms you may be used if you're moving here from a non-deed-restricted area, so to avoid a "reality shock" after you've moved in, please read the "rules" BEFORE you purchase your home in Anchorage.
